Below are the planned theatre activities and opportunities for the 2011 - 2012 school year. In addition to these activities, Glencoe theatre students provide technical support for assemblies and events, such as the talent show, Mr. GHS, and Battle of the Bandz.

You can be involved as a cast member or crew member Crew sign-ups and audition information will be posted the first day of school on the bulletin boards outside the auditorium.
Regional Acting Competition – February 4th
Come to a Theatre Club meeting in the Fall and get involved with the competition team. Competition opportunities include groups scenes, monologues, pantomime, and musical performances.
Senior Spotlight – One-act plays and musical performances directed by seniors
Auditions – December 5th – 7th
Performances – February 22nd – 25th
You can be involved as a cast member or crew member. Audition information and crew sign-ups will be posted the first week in November
Spring Play – Misalliance by George Bernard Shaw
Auditions – February 28th and 29th with callbacks March 2nd
Spring Play performances – May 3rd – 5th and 10th – 12th

State Theatre Competition – April 12th – 14th
Advanced actors, students qualifying for State Competition, and active technicians and theatre club members travel to Eugene for three days of competition, classes, and watching performances.
